Product information below represents electricity product details for the renewal of the WinPower program beginning December 2022 though December 2024. Click here to see WinPower Program pricing for the prior period, January 2020 through December 2022.

The Program has different products to let you find the right balance of cost and renewable electricity. Renewable electricity will be certified by purchasing and retiring Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), the accepted legal instrument used to track renewable energy generation and to substantiate claims of renewable energy use. WinPower Standard

WinPower 100

Term: December 2022 – December 2024
Renewable Energy: Adds voluntary renewable energy  (MA Class I RECs) to total 100% renewable. To see percentages of total renewable content and total MA Class l REC content, click here.

Tax Deduction The value of the extra MA Class I renewable energy qualifies as a deduction on federal income taxes. Those enrolled in this option will receive a tax contribution letter each January from Green Energy Consumers Alliance, the non-profit that procures the extra renewable electricity.

Please note: prices for all options in the WinPower Program include a $0.001/kWh administration fee. Program prices could increase as a result of a change in law that results in a direct, material increase in costs during the term of the electricity supply agreement. Program prices apply only to the electricity supply portion of your Eversource electric bill. Delivery charges on your Eversource electric bill are not affected by the WinPower Program.

For new industrial customers and for those customers who have previously opted-out of the Program, the supplier may offer a market rate.

Eversource Basic Service Rates

Residential: 25.776 ¢/kWh, January – June 2023
Commercial: 26.176 ¢/kWh, January – June 2023
Industrial: 13.318 ¢/kWh (NEMA), April – June 2023
Renewable Energy: Meets only the state minimum standards.

Future savings compared to Eversource Basic Service cannot be guaranteed because future Basic Service prices change every six months for residential and commercial customers and every three months for industrial customers.
