The AG’s Office does not propose any changes to Massachusetts cities’ and towns’ municipal aggregation programs like WinPower. In fact, the Green Energy Consumers Alliance recently published a report commending green municipal aggregation programs, stating that “as a result of the buying power of so many households, these communities have locked in a competitive and stable electricity supply price for all Basic Service customers–and they have more Class 1 renewable energy in the electricity powering residents’ homes.”
